DAYTON FACES #22/24 OHIO STATE IN THE NCAA SECOND ROUND
• The University of Dayton Flyers return to the Big Dance as a No. 11 seed with a match up against the No. 6 seed Ohio State Buckeyes in the Second Round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament.
• The game will be nationally televised on CBS, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live streaming video, audio and stats at DaytonFlyers.com.

ABOUT OHIO STATE
• The Ohio State Buckeyes (#22 AP, #24 USA Today) earned the No. 6 seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season 25-9 overall and 10-8 in Big Ten play. Ohio State is led by the 2014 Big Ten Player of the Year, Aaron Craft. Craft (9.6 ppg, 2.5 spg) earned a second team All-Big Ten honoree while placing LaQuinton Ross (15.4 ppg) on the honorable mention list.

SERIES STUFF
• Ohio State leads the all-time series 6-3. Ohio State defeated Dayton 74-63 at home in the NIT Quarterfinals on March 26, 2008.

TOURNEY TIME
• Dayton will be making its 15th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and first since the 2008-09 season.
• UD holds a 14-16 overall record in the tournament.
• The Flyers advanced to the Regional Semifinal six times, the Regional Final twice, the Final Four once and finished as the National Runner-Up in 1967.

BUCKEYE BLITZ
• There are three Flyers with direct connections to their second round opponent.
• Coach Archie Miller served as an assistant on Thad Matta's staff for two seasons (2007-08 and 2008-09).
• Guard Jordan Sibert played for Ohio State in 2010-10 and 2011-12 before redshirting last year at Dayton.
• UD Assistant Coach Kevin Kuwik was Ohio State's video coordinator during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 campaigns.

FIRE FLYERS
• Dayton closed the 2013-14 year winning 10 of its last 12. Wins include at home against Top 50 RPI teams Massachusetts and George Washington and on the road at No. 17 Saint Louis.

THE POWER OF THREE
• If there was one word to describe the Flyers' success this year, it would be "balance." Dayton is 22-3 this year when three or more players score in double figures.
• When it is two players or less, the Flyers are 1-7.
• Overall, 11 different Flyers have scored in double figures in 2013-14.
