No. 6 seed Dayton takes on No. 11 seed Florida in the First Round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship at the Bryce Jordan Center on the campus of Penn State University this Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 3 p.m. Watch on ESPN with regional coverage; Bob Picozzi and Krista Blunk will be on the call. >> The Flyers earned their fifth consecutive NCAA berth in 2014. Dayton is 2-4 all-time in NCAA Tournament games. UD's No. 6 seed is the highest in program history. The Flyers are 0-3 vs. SEC teams in the NCAA Championship.
>> The No. 7 seed Flyers' 96-90 double overtime win over No. 10 seed St. John's on their home court Carnesecca Arena in Queens, N.Y. in the NCAA First Round marked the first double overtime game of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament since 2000. UD lost to No. 2 seed Kentucky in the second round, 84-70.
>> UD earned an automatic berth to the 2012 NCAA Championship after winning the program's first-ever A-10 Tournament Championship.UD was the No. 11 seed and lost 72-55 to No. 6 seed Arkansas in College Station, Texas at Reed Arena.
>> In 2011 Dayton earned the No. 11 seed and lost to host and No. 6 seed Penn State, 75-66, at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa.
>> The Flyers earned their first-ever NCAA Tournament berth and win in 2010. Dayton earned the No. 8 seed and erased an 18-point deficit to defeat No.9 seed TCU 67-66. Dayton lost to No. 1 seed Tennessee 92-64 in the second round in Knoxville, Tenn.

Dayton and Florida have met once with the Gators coming away with a 97-93 win over the Flyers on March 15, 2000 in a WNIT First Round Game at UD Arena.
