Box Score /// Box Score (PDF)

ST. LOUIS – It was a game breaking a lot of O-fers for the Dayton Flyers.

Jordan Sibert scored 14 points, Dyshawn Pierre tallied 11 and Jalen Robinson scored 10 off the bench to lead Dayton past the No. 17 Saint Louis Billikens on the road, 72-67.

Prior to Wednesday's victory, Dayton had never in its program's history defeated a ranked conference opponent on the road. UD was previously 0-for-15 against ranked teams on the road in the Midwest Collegiate, Great Midwest and Atlantic 10 Conferences.

Dayton had also not defeated any ranked opponent on the road since upsetting Louisville on Dec. 8, 2007.

It was also the Flyers' first win at Chaifetz Arena in five tries.

UD needed a strong team effort and got it, especially from its bench. The Flyer reserves out-scored Saint Louis' reserves 31-14.

The freshmen class stepped up as well as Kendall Pollard matched his career-high with nine points, Scoochie Smith scored six and Kyle Davis added two field goals in the second half.

The Flyers broke the game open with a 16-2 run late in the second half. UD eventually would lead 68-59 with 3:36 to go after a Devin Oliver three-point play.

Saint Louis came storming back and cut the Flyer advantage to 68-67 with 34 seconds to go. Khari Price sank two free throws, and the Flyers got a stop on Saint Louis' final possession to secure the victory.

Speaking of Oliver, counting the earlier game at home against the Billikens, he was 0-for-17 from the field against Saint Louis. But he eventually got going on the offensive end and completed the game with six points and nine rebounds.

The Flyers held a 36-30 edge on the glass and shot 47 percent from the field.

This was Dayton's second win over a ranked team this season. The Flyers beat then-No. 11 Gonzaga in the Maui Invitational in November.

Dayton closes the regular season at home hosting the Richmond Spiders on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. ET.
