DAYTON
--- The University of Dayton Flyers won their eighth straight game with a 61-45 victory over the Saint Louis Billikens.  Kendall Pollard led UD with a career high 20 points.

Jordan Sibert added 18 points while Dyshawn Pierre recorded his second straight double-double, finishing with 10 point and a team high 12 rebounds.

The win moves UD to 15-2 (5-0 A-10), while Saint Louis moves to 9-9 (1-4 A-10) on the season.  The 5-0 conference start is the best since the 2003-04 season.  Dayton is tied atop the Atlantic 10 standings with VCU at 5-0.

The Flyers have now won 15 straight home games.  Saint Louis had won the previous three games at UD Arena.

The Flyers began the game on a 9-0 run, while the Billikens did not get on the board until the 13:37 mark.  UD took a 27-22 lead into the half.

SLU came out firing in the second half, tying the game up at 27 before UD went on a 15-4 run to take a lead they would not relinquish.

The Billikens then went on an almost six-minute scoring drought to finish the game.  The 45 points are the fewest scored in a game for SLU since 2010 when they scored 36 in a loss to Richmond.

The Flyers shot 43 percent from the field on the day, and only 22 percent from three, but made up for that by outrebounding Saint Louis 36-31 and out-scoring them in the paint 26-18.

The Billikens were led by Ash Yacoubou who finished with 12 points.

The Flyers will look to continue their undefeated conference start with a very tough road test against the Davidson Wildcats on Tuesday.  Tip is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
