DAYTON -- The University of Dayton Flyer basketball team begins their 20th season in the Atlantic 10 Saturday when the Duquesne Dukes visit UD Arena. Game time is 1:00 p.m. ET. Dayton will be seeking its 13th consecutive home victory on Saturday. The Flyers are 47-12 at home under coach
Archie Miller and have won 12 straight dating back to last season. This season the Flyers are 7-0 and allowing only 58.0 points per game on Tom Blackburn Court.
POWER PLAYERS
The University of Dayton loves playing against the Power Five Conferences. Dayton is 28-10 in the last eight years against programs from the Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, Pac 12 and ACC. This year, Dayton finished the non-conference regular season 4-1 after beating Texas A&M and Boston College in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, and Georgia Tech and Ole Miss over the holidays.
DEFENSIVE STALWARTS
Dayton is 9-1 when limiting opponents to less than 70 points in a game (9-0 under 65 points) this season. Dating back to last year, Dayton has not allowed an opponent to score 70 or more points in 15 of its last 19 games. The Flyers are 17-0 when limiting opponents to 60 points or less during the previous two seasons. Thru 11 games, Dayton ranked fourth in the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense (58.5 ppg), third in field goal percentage defense (.392) and fourth in 3-pt. FG% defense (.300).
SIBERT STEPS UP

Jordan Sibert has scored in double figures in his last 10 games, including scoring at least 18 points in four of the five Flyer games against teams from Power Five Conferences. Sibert leads UD in points (15.7 ppg.), minutes (31.5 mpg) and FT% (.828, 48-58). He scored a career-high 24 points two games ago in the Georgia Tech win.
HEART TRUMPS HEIGHT
Dayton has won its last three games despite having no one on the active roster taller than 6-foot-6. UD has gone against teams with a total of 18 players taller than the tallest Flyers. In those games, Dayton has four players averaging double figures --

ABOUT DUQUESNE
• The Dukes enter the game 5-6 overall and are coming off a 78-72 win Tuesday at home over Texas Pan-American.
• Duquesne has two of the top three-point shooters in the country in their starting junior guards Derrick Colter and Micah Mason. Colter currently leads nation in 3-pt. shooting (.577) and Mason led last year (.560).
• The two tallest Dukes, 6-foot-11 Darius Lewis and 6-foot-8 Dominique McKoy, scored a combined 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting in the Texas-Pan American win.
SERIES STUFF
• Dayton leads the all-time series 47-22.
• UD has won the last three contests and four of the last five played at the Arena.
• The Flyers won last year at CONSOL Energy Center 57-54, after overcoming an 18-point second half deficit.
Jordan Sibert scored 16 of his UD-leading 18 points, including seven of Dayton's last nine points.
