UD Alumni Information For BrooklynDAYTON HEADS TO BROOKLYN FOR THE 2015 ATLANTIC 10 MEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP• The University of Dayton Flyers will enter the 2015 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship as the No. 2 seed beginning Friday, March 13.
• The games will be televised on NBCSN, CBS Sports Network and CBS, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.
• UD will play the winner of the St. Bonaventure/Saint Joseph's game on Friday.
TOURNAMENT INFO• This is Dayton's 20th season in the Atlantic 10 and in each of those years earned a bid to the A-10 Championship.
• Last year, Dayton defeated Fordham in the first round, but fell to Saint Joseph's in the quarterfinals.
• The Flyers have a 22-18 overall record in the tournament.
• UD has won the championship once (2003), placed second twice (2004 and 2011), and tied for third three times (2000, 2002 and 2009).
A-1O HONORS SIBERT, PIERRE & POLLARD• Three University of Dayton men's basketball players – senior

Dyshawn Pierre and sophomore
Kendall Pollard – were recognized when the Atlantic 10 Conference announced its 2015 award winners on March 10.
• Sibert was named First Team All-Atlantic 10, Pierre Second Team All A-10, and Pollard was the winner of the Chris Daniels Most Improved Player Award.
• Sibert and Pierre are the 25th and 26th Dayton players to earn All-Atlantic 10 honors since the Flyers joined the A-10 in 1995-96.
• Pollard is the third UD player to be named the A-10's Chris Daniels Most Improved Player Award winner. Coby Turner was selected in 1998 and Chris Johnson was chosen in 2010.
PIERRE & SIBERT NAMED CO-MVP'S• Senior

Dyshawn Pierre were named co-White Allen Most Valuable Players at the annual men's basketball banquet on March 8.
• It is only the eighth time in the program's history there have been co-MVP's.
• Sibert, the team's only senior, leads the Flyers in scoring (16.6), minutes (34.4),three pointers (71) FT% (.789, 120-152) and steals (49).
• Pierre, the team's only three-year player, is Dayton's top rebounder (8.1) and second-leading scorer (13.0).
SMALL BALL SUCCESS• Dayton is 16-5 over the last 21 games.
• UD is averaging 70.0 points and 14.1 assists per game.
• The Flyers are also shooting a blistering .482 from the floor and .392 from three-point range during that span.
• Three Flyers are scoring in double figures during this run:
Jordan Sibert (17.4 ppg),
Dyshawn Pierre (13.9 ppg) and
Kendall Pollard (13.7 ppg).
• With no one over 6-6, UD is being out-rebounded just 32.5 to 30.6.
AWESOME IN THE ATLANTIC 10• Dayton is 36-10 since Feb. 1, 2014.
• Dating back to last season, the Flyers have won 23 of their last 29 A-10 regular season games.
DEFENSIVE STALWARTS• Dayton is 21-4 when limiting opponents to less than 70 points in a game (21-1 under 65 points) this season.
• Dating back to last year, Dayton has not allowed an opponent to score 70 or more points in 30 of its last 37 games.
• The Flyers are 25-1 when limiting opponents to 60 points or less during the previous two seasons.
