DAYTON OPENS THE 2015 NCAA TOURNAMENT AGAINST BOISE STATE
• The University of Dayton Flyers earned a No. 11 seed and will open the 2015 NCAA Tournament in the First Four against the Boise State Broncos on Wednesday at 9:10 p.m. ET.
• The game will be televised on truTV, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.

ABOUT BOISE STATE
• The Boise State Broncos enter the tournament as a No. 11 seed as well with a 25-8 record.
• The Broncos have won seven of their last eight and 15 of the last 17.
• Boise State is led by the Mountain West Player of the Year and All-Mountain West First Team selection Derrick Marks (19.3 ppg, 3.0 apg) and James Webb III (11.3 ppg, 7.9 rpg), who earned the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year, All-Mountain West Second Team and All-Defensive Team selection.

SERIES STUFF
• This is the first meeting between the two programs.

NCAA TOURNAMENT INFO
• This is Dayton's 16th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
• The Flyers have a 17-17 overall record in the Big Dance.
• This will be the first time UD will be in the East Region.
• In 2014, the Flyers advanced to the Elite Eight after defeating Ohio State, Syracuse and Stanford.
• Coach Archie Miller is 3-1 in the NCAA's.
• The Flyers advanced to the Regional Semifinal seven times, the Regional Final three times, and finished as the National Runner-Up in 1967.

IT'S HAPPENED BEFORE
• Although Dayton playing in its home arena at the NCAA First Four is a novelty, it has happened previously.  
• Dayton hosted Villanova as a 9-seed on March 15, 1985, but lost 51-49 in front of 13,260 fans.

MORE ON THE BIG DANCE
• This is the first time Dayton has advanced to the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons since the 2002-03 and 2003-04 campaigns.
Archie Miller will also be looking to be the first Flyer coach to win an NCAA Tournament game in back-to-back years since the Dayton achieved that feat in 1965, 1966 and 1967.
• This is the third consecutive tournament the Flyers are a No. 11 seed.
• The Flyers are 4-3 all-time as a No. 11 seed.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
• The Flyers finished 16-0 on Tom Blackburn Court this season.
• It is only the fourth time in the program's history UD went undefeated at home. The other years are 1949-50, 1959-60 and 2008-09.
• Dayton will take a 21-game home winning streak into next year.
• It's currently the seventh-longest home winning streak in the NCAA.
• UD is 53-12 at home under coach Archie Miller.
• At home, Dayton shot .495 from the field and averaging 73.2 points per game.

SMALL BALL SUCCESS
• Dayton is 18-6 over the last 24 games.
• UD is averaging 69.4 points and 13.9 assists per game.
• The Flyers are also shooting .476 from the floor and .380 from three-point range during that span.
• Three Flyers are scoring in double figures during this run: Jordan Sibert (17.1 ppg), Kendall Pollard (14.0 ppg) and Dyshawn Pierre (13.3 ppg).
• With no one over 6-6, UD is being out-rebounded just 32.5 to 30.3.

• The winner of the Dayton-Boise State contest will play the Providence Friars in the Second Round on Friday, March 20.
• The game will be played in Columbus, Ohio at 9:57 p.m. ET.
