PHILADELPHIA - On the second leg of its Philly layover, the University of Dayton women's basketball team will square off against La Salle Wednesday night at the Explorers' Tom Gola Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be available via video stream.

Flyer Facts
» Head coach Jim Jabir is in his 13th season (247-149) at the helm of the Dayton women's team in 2015-16. He was named the eighth head coach, and first male, in the history of the program on April 8, 2003. Jabir holds a career record of 467-372 over 29 seasons.
» Dayton participated in its sixth-consecutive NCAA Tournament in 2015. It was the fifth at-large bid for the Flyers and the team's first appearance in a NCAA Regional Final.
» UD has one 1,000-point scorer in senior Amber Deane (1,194). She currently ranks 18th on UD's all-time scoring list. Deane was named to the Naismith Trophy Early-Season Watch List as one of 50 top women's players. She is currently sidelined due to injury.
» With five blocks at Duquesne on Jan. 3, senior Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova broke the school record for all-time career blocks, a record that has stood since 1988. She has 247 career blocks and counting.
» This is the Flyers' 48th season (1968-69) as an intercollegiate sport at Dayton. UD's all-time record sits at 750-563 (.571).
» The Flyers are 168-144 (.539) in Atlantic 10 regular season play (21st season).

About the Flyers
Dayton (9-9, 2-5 A-10) snapped a four-game skid with its 71-61 win at Saint Joseph's Sunday evening and is looking to continue on the winning track at La Salle on Wednesday. With two of the team's top four scorers out with injury, the Flyers have looked to junior Saicha Grant-Allen and sophomore Jenna Burdette for offensive sparks. The squad's leading rebounder (8.0 rpg.), Grant-Allen scores 10.6 ppg. and the team's assist leader (3.9 apg.) Burdette averages 10.4 ppg.

Scouting La Salle
La Salle (3-16, 0-6 A-10) is currently suffering through a seven-game losing streak after winning back-to-back contests against Norfolk State and Monmouth in late December. LAS has not won a regular-season A-10 game since Feb. 25, 2015 at St. Bonaventure. The Explorers are led by Amy Griffin with 18.0 ppg. and Jasmine Alston with 7.2 rpg., 6.5 apg. and 2.3 spg. 

Last Time Out
With a career-high 24 point, freshman Lauren Cannatelli led four Flyers in double-figures scoring as Dayton picked up a 10-point, 71-61 win at Saint Joseph's Sunday evening. Cannatelli was 5-for-10 from long range and 9-of-12 from the line while also grabbing five rebounds and collecting three steals. Junior Saicha Grant-Allen added 17 points and a team-high six rebounds in the win.

The Series
Dayton and La Salle have met 33 times since 1993 with the Flyers holding a slim 18-15 margin in the series. The Explorers dominated the first half of the series, winning seven of the first eight match-ups but the Flyers have won the last 10 meetings between the two.

• Senior guard Kelley Austria will be out for the remainder of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee (Toledo Dec. 7). WNP
