PHILADELPHIA - On the second leg of its Philly layover, the University of Dayton women's basketball team will square off against La Salle Wednesday night at the Explorers' Tom Gola Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be available via video stream.

Jim Jabir is in his 13th season (247-149) at the helm of the Dayton women's team in 2015-16. He was named the eighth head coach, and first male, in the history of the program on April 8, 2003. Jabir holds a career record of 467-372 over 29 seasons.

Scouting La SalleLa Salle (3-16, 0-6 A-10) is currently suffering through a seven-game losing streak after winning back-to-back contests against Norfolk State and Monmouth in late December. LAS has not won a regular-season A-10 game since Feb. 25, 2015 at St. Bonaventure. The Explorers are led by Amy Griffin with 18.0 ppg. and Jasmine Alston with 7.2 rpg., 6.5 apg. and 2.3 spg.

Lauren Cannatelli led four Flyers in double-figures scoring as Dayton picked up a 10-point, 71-61 win at Saint Joseph's Sunday evening. Cannatelli was 5-for-10 from long range and 9-of-12 from the line while also grabbing five rebounds and collecting three steals. Junior

The SeriesDayton and La Salle have met 33 times since 1993 with the Flyers holding a slim 18-15 margin in the series. The Explorers dominated the first half of the series, winning seven of the first eight match-ups but the Flyers have won the last 10 meetings between the two.
