DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team closed the regular season with an impressive 77-55 win over Fordham Sunday at UD Arena on Senior Day. Junior
Saicha Grant-Allen scored 16 points, including 14 in the second half, to lead five Dayton double-digit scorers.
The Flyers enter the Atlantic 10 tournament with a 14-13 overall record, and were 7-9 in the A-10. Fordham falls to 13-16, and 8-8 in the conference.

2Q:Â The Flyers took a 36-28 advantage in to the locker room. Burdette finished the first half with 10 points and four assists (with just one turnover) while playing all 20 minutes.
3Q:Â Dayton outscored the Rams 26-12 behind nine points scored by Grant-Allen. She made four of her five shots from the floor. Dayton made 9-of-13 (69.2%) of its field goal attempts, while holding Fordham to 31.3% (5-16).
4Q:Â Dayton cruised to a 20-15 margin to hold off the Rams and win 77-55.

• Burdette had eight assists and Cannatelli had seven. The Flyer backcourt duo combined for 15 assists and had only three turnovers in the game.

• Danielle Burns led Fordham with 15 points.
• Dayton is 11-3 when leading at halftime this season.

• "La Marseillaise," the national anthem of France, was played in honor of Cornelie-Sigmundova's last regular season home game. She is from Strasbourg, France.
• UD snapped a four-game losing streak with the win.
Up Next• UD will travel to Richmond, Va., for the 2016 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship. Dayton is the tournament's eighth seed.
• The Flyers will play ninth seed George Mason on Thursday, March 3 at 11 a.m. ET. The winner of that game will take on No. 1 seed George Washington on Mar. 4.
