DAYTON FALLS TO SYRACUSE, 70-51, IN THE NCAA FIRST ROUND


ST. LOUIS - Charles Cooke scored 14 points and Scoochie Smith added 12 points, five rebounds and five assists as the No. 7 seed Dayton Flyers fell to the 10th-seeded Syracuse Orange 70-51.

Kyle Davis scored nine points and Dyshawn Pierre and Steve McElvene each had six points and six rebounds for UD.

GAME BREAKDOWN
