COACH ERIC GOLZ'S QUOTE
I was very proud of the team tonight for their performance. We challenged them before the game to rise to the occasion and to collectively solve the game, and we certainly took some steps in both of those areas, and there is much to continue to build on as we continue a critical stretch in our season. Saint Louis is a good team, and they certainly stretched us tonight, but we did a good job of executing a game plan to put us in position to get an important result on the road.  If we can clean up a couple of mental mistakes, we go home with three points instead of one, but we can build on this as we head into Sunday's match against another talented team in Saint Joseph's.

 UP NEXT
  • Continuing its road swing, Dayton will travel to Saint Joseph's for an afternoon match on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m.
