Gildan Charleston Classic Next Up For @DaytonMBB











FLYERS BEGIN CHARLESTON CLASSIC AGAINST HOFSTRA
  • The University of Dayton Flyers look to start 2-0 when they face the Hofstra Pride in the 2017 Gildan Charleston Classic on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
  • The game will be carried by ESPNU and is available with live streaming video, audio and stats at DaytonFlyers.com.

SERIES STUFF
  • Dayton leads the all-time series 1-0.
  • The Flyers won the only meeting against the Pride, 77-54, on Dec. 29, 1981 at UD Arena.

CUNNINGHAM NAMED A-10 CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
  • The Atlantic 10 Conference named Dayton's Josh Cunningham as the Co-Player of the Week on Nov. 13.
  • Cunningham took an out-of-bounds feed in the paint from Xeyrius Williams and dropped in a basket with 0.1 seconds left for the game winner. He also intercepted the desperation downcourt heave for the steal that ended the game.
  • The Flyer captain scored a college career-high 22 points with a team-high seven rebounds.
  • Cunningham shared this week's A-10 honor with Davidson's Jon Axel Gudmundsson.
