Flyers Close The Charleston Classic Against Old Dominion













FLYERS CLOSE THE CHARLESTON CLASSIC AGAINST OLD DOMINION
  • The University of Dayton Flyers close the 2017 Gildan Charleston Classic in the fifth place game against the Old Dominion Monarch on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. ET.
  • The game will be carried by ESPN3 and is available with live streaming video, audio and stats at DaytonFlyers.com.

SERIES STUFF
  • Dayton leads the all-time series 6-5.
  • The Monarchs won 74-71 in the last meeting on Dec. 11, 2010 at Old Dominion.

CUNNINGHAM NAMED A-10 CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
  • The Atlantic 10 Conference named Dayton's Josh Cunningham as the Co-Player of the Week on Nov. 13.
  • Cunningham took an out-of-bounds feed in the paint from Xeyrius Williams and dropped in a basket with 0.1 seconds left for the game winner. He also intercepted the desperation downcourt heave for the steal that ended the game.
  • The Flyer captain scored a college career-high 22 points with a team-high seven rebounds.
  • Cunningham shared this week's A-10 honor with Davidson's Jon Axel Gudmundsson.

  • Josh Cunningham is coming off an 18-point, 19-rebound performance versus Ohio. Cunningham's 19 boards were the most since Steve McElvene grabbed 16 against North Florida on Dec. 5, 2015.
  • No Flyer has had more rebounds since Chris Johnson had 20 vs. Duquesne on Jan. 9, 2010.
  • Dayton is one of 19 schools to have made the last four NCAA Tournaments.
