Anthony Grant Era Begins As @DaytonMBB Hosts Ball State

Flyers Will Begin The 110th Season of Basketball












UD BEGINS THE ANTHONY GRANT ERA AGAINST BALL STATE
  • The University of Dayton Flyers will commence the Anthony Grant era and their 110th season of basketball by hosting the Ball State Cardinals on Friday, Nov. 10.
  • The game will be carried by Spectrum Sports and is available with live streaming video, audio and stats at DaytonFlyers.com.

SERIES STUFF
  • Dayton leads the all-time series 5-1.
  • The Flyers have won the past four meetings with the last one on Jan. 5, 2010 (59-35) at UD Arena.

OPENING DAY HORS D'OEUVRES
  • The Flyers have won 12 consecutive opening games and 15 of their last 16.
  • Dayton is 44-4 in home openers at UD Arena.
  • Last time Dayton broke the 100-point scoring mark in a season opener was on Nov. 23, 1991 when UD defeated Austin Peay 101-94.
  • The Flyers had a 23-game home-opener winning streak from 1969 to 1991.
