PITTSBURGH – 
Charles Cooke scored 14 points and 
Xeyrius Williams added 13 points and nine rebounds as the top seeded Dayton Flyers fell to the Davidson Wildcats, 73-69.
Scoochie Smith finished with 12 points and eight assists, while 
Kendall Pollard scored 12 as Dayton dropped to 24-7 overall.
FIRST HALF – Davidson 37, Dayton 25
	- Davidson shot 50 percent from the floor and out-rebounded UD 18-13.
 
	- Dayton was 9 of 28 from the field, but had four three-pointers.
 
SECOND HALF – Davidson 73, Dayton 67
	- Trailing by as many as  16 in the first half, Dayton came out of the locker room on a 10-2 run and cut the deficit to 39-35 in the opening four minutes.
 
	- The Flyers slowly crawled back into the game and tied it 60-60 with 3:22 to go after a Smith three-pointer.  
 
	- UD regained the lead, 65-62, after Cooke sank a three in the corner with two minutes to go.
 
	- However, the Wildcats roared back and closed the game on an 11-2 run to pull away for the win.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
	- Smith tied the Flyer record for most consecutive games played at 137. He shares the honor with Kurt Huelsman and London Warren.
 
	- Cooke has scored in double figures in all but two games this season.
 
	- Williams was a rebound away from his first career double-double. He has scored in double figures in six of the last nine contests.
 
	- UD shot 42 percent from the field, but only 5 of 10 at the free throw line.
 
	- Davidson's Jack Gibbs scored 34 points, setting the PPG Paint s Arena record.
