DAYTON OPENS THE A-10 TOURNAMENT AGAINST DAVIDSON

The University of Dayton Flyers will face the Davidson Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship on Friday at noon ET.
The games will be televised on NBCSN, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.

ABOUT DAVIDSON

Davidson enters the contest 16-14 overall and finished 8-10 in the conference.
The Wildcats are led by All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection Jack Gibbs (21.9 ppg) and Second Team All A-10 honoree Peyton Aldridge (21.0 ppg).

Davidson leads the all-time series 4-2.

The Flyers placed four players on the 2016-17 Atlantic All-Conference Teams and two earn end-of-season awards.
Archie Miller earned Coach of the Year honors for the first time in his Dayton tenure.
Scoochie Smith joined the All-Conference First Team.
Charles Cooke netted All-Conference Second Team and All-Defensive Team honors.
Kyle Davis was named the Sixth Man of the Year and to the All-Defensive Team.
Kendall Pollard earned an All-Conference Third Team selection.
