BRONX, N.Y. - For the second time in three games Fordham used a walk-off hit to defeat University of Dayton softball, this time by a margin of 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Bahoshy Softball Complex. The Rams sweep the Atlantic 10 series from the Flyers, 3-0.
Dayton moves to 27-24 overall and 11-9 in conference play while Fordham improves to 39-13 on the season and 15-5 in league action.

Julia Blarr blasted a ball over the left field fence in what the team thought was a three-run home run but was ruled foul by the game official
Bottom - The Rams loaded up the bases and were able to plate the game-winning run with a single to right.

UP NEXT
Dayton will close out the regular season next weekend with a three-game home series against Massachusetts. The two will square off Saturday at UD Softball Stadium for a doubleheader set to begin at 12 p.m. Three senior team members will be recognized prior to the game.
