COACH GOLZ'S QUOTE
We knew that coming home after a long road trip, playing a double overtime match at VCU and the 90-degree temperatures today, that our legs were going to be a little heavy. We didn't expect to go a player down 30 minutes into the match. The team showed a tremendous amount of character and resolve in responding to that. We talked to the team prior to the game and at halftime about this being a character-defining opportunity, and I think they did a great job of using these really challenging circumstances to show who they are – the grit, the resolve, and the mentality that they're starting to develop is a great testament to the will to win. It wasn't the best of quality at times, but we found a way to get it done and I'm tremendously proud of the team for that.  Â
