DAYTON, Oh. – The University of Dayton's women basketball team won its season home opener with a 67-56 victory versus the University of Indianapolis on Thursday, Nov. 1. Â
The Flyers open the season with an exhibition win, while the Greyhounds close out their exhibition series with a record of 0-2.

- Flyers struck first in the first fifteen seconds of play with a free throw taken by Araion Bradshaw.
- Junior Jayla Scaife became the second Flyer to reach double digits behind Chandler, going on to assist the team with 12 points and six rebounds by the first timeout taken by the Greyhounds.
- The Flyers posted their biggest lead with 20 points at the 6:16 minute mark.
- The Greyhounds pushed to respond and close the gap down to 15 points.

- The Greyhounds fought through the fourth to slow the Flyers running away with the game, but the Flyers stayed at least 10 points away from Indianapolis down the stretch.
