#A10MBB Tourney Starts Thursday As @DaytonMBB Faces VCU

DAYTON ENTERS #A10MBB CHAMPIONSHIP AS A NO. 9 SEED, FACES VCU
  • The University of Dayton Flyers will enter the 2018 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship as the No. 9 seed against the VCU Rams on Thursday at noon ET.
  • The games will be televised on NBCSN, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.

CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
  • This is Dayton's 23rd season in the Atlantic 10 and in each of those years earned a bid to the A-10 Championship.
  • Last year, Dayton fell to the Davidson Wildcats, 73-67, in the A-10 Quarterfinals.
  • The Flyers have a 25-21 overall record in the tournament.
  • Dayton has won the championship once (2003), placed second three times (2004, 2011, 2015), and tied for third three times (2000, 2002, 2009).

  • Cunningham ranks second in the A-10, seventh in the NCAA in field goal percentage (.646).
  • Cunningham has scored in double figures in 20 of the last 23 games.
  • Trey Landers has scored in double figures in five straight games and in 12 of his last 15.
  • After not having a double-double in his first 30 games, Landers has three in the last seven games, including back-to-back games at Rhode Island and La Salle.
  • Jalen Crutcher has scored in double figures in 10 of his last 16 games. He reached double figures in points twice in his first 13 contests.
  • Crutcher's 128 dimes in the regular season are tied for second all-time with Negele Knight in Flyer Basketball history for freshman assists in a year.
  • Crutcher's 2.55 assist-to-turnover ratio is the best for a Flyer freshman all-time and fifth-best overall in a season.
  • Kostas Antetokounmpo is averaging 10.5 points while shooting 15 of 23 (.652) from the floor in his last four games.
