DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team heads back out on the road to take on Northeastern Saturday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. in Boston.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton heads east with a 2-1 record on the season, holding wins over Lipscomb and Toledo and a loss at home to No. 6 South Carolina. The Flyers are 1-0 on the road this year as well.

Shauna Green is in her fourth season in charge of the Flyers and already has two tournament and one regular season conference titles, as well as being the former A-10 Coach of the Year in 2018.
As a team, the Flyers are averaging 63.7 points each contest and holding opposing teams to 59.0 points. Dayton is shooting 32.4 percent overall, 27.8 percent from three, and 72.1 percent from the free throw line. The Flyers are a strong rebounding team, outrebounding opponents by a +12.0 margin and has a +2.0 turnover margin.

SCOUTING NORTHEASTERN
Northeastern hosts the Flyers with an 0-2 record on the season, looking for its first win of the year. The Huskies have losses to mid-major power South Dakota and No. 1 Oregon.
Head coach Kelly Cole is in her sixth season at the helm of the Huskies and boasts 67 career wins and two postseason appearances.
This season, Northeastern is scoring 61.5 points per game and giving up 84.5 to opponents. The Huskies are shooting 41.7 percent from the floor, 32.5 percent from behind the arc, and 58.8 percent from the charity stripe. Northeastern faces a -16.5 rebounding margin and -1.0 turnover margin.
The Huskies are led by Stella Clark, who is averaging 12.5 points and 6.0 assists per game. Kendall Currence is also adding double-digit scoring with 11.5 points each outing.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton hosted No. 6 South Carolina Wednesday and fell to the Gamecocks 75-49. The Flyers shot just 13 percent from the field and 16 percent from three-point range in the loss.
Northeastern suffered an 89-47 loss at No. 1 Oregon on Monday. Stella Clark scored a team-high 12 points as the Huskies were not able to overcome a 47-22 first half deficit.
THE SERIES
Dayton and Northeastern have played just one time previously with the Huskies defeating the Flyers at UD Arena last year, 84-79 in overtime. Jess Genco scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Northeastern.
STATISTICAL RANKINGS
The Flyers rank 11th in the nation in rebounds and 11th in offensive rebounds per game.
