CHARLESTON, S.C. - The University of Dayton softball team split its games on the final day of the Charleston Southern Willie Jewell Invitational. Dayton fell to South Dakota, 18-0 (5), Saturday morning and bested host Charleston Southern 3-2 in the nightcap.
Dayton is now 3-2 after its opening weekend of the 2019 season. South Dakota is 3-1 while Charleston Southern is 3-2 after Saturday's games.
