OXFORD, Ohio - The University of Dayton softball team closed out play at the annual Miami (Ohio) Invitational Sunday, falling to Michigan State, 4-2, and host Miami, 8-0 (5).
Dayton moves to 9-14 on the season while Michigan State is 11-15 and Miami improved to 12-10 overall.

UP NEXT
Dayton is set to play two mid-week games in round-robin format at Wright State on Wednesday, March 20. Dayton will play a neutral-site game against Bowling Green at 2 p.m. followed by a 4:30 p.m. tilt against Wright State. Both games will be played at WSU Softball Field in Fairborn, Ohio.
