DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team picked up two wins over Morehead State Wednesday in its non-conference, mid-week doubleheader. The Flyers downed the Eagles, 8-1, in game one and came from behind in game two to win, 6-5.
Dayton improves to 17-16 on the season while Morehead State moves to 2-25 overall.

First-place Dayton returns to Atlantic 10 action this weekend with a trip to the Big Apple. Dayton is scheduled to play a three-game set against Fordham in the Bronx April 6-7. The pair will square off Saturday for a doubleheader at 12 p.m. followed by a single game, also at 12 p.m., on Saturday at the Rams' Bahoshy Softball Complex.
