Men’s Basketball Returns Home To Meet Davidson Friday

No. 4/3 Flyers have Won 17 Consecutive Games

DAYTON --The University of Dayton Flyers return home to meet Davidson Friday, looking to clinch an outright Atlantic 10 regular season title.  Dayton claimed a share of the championship Tuesday with a 62-55 win at George Mason.  UD is 26-2 overall and 14-0 in the A-10.  Friday's game time is 7 p.m. ET. The Flyers currently have the nation's longest win streak at 17.

Dayton is off to its best start ever at UD at 26-2, with both losses in OT to Top 20-caliber teams -- Kansas in the Maui Invitational finals and Colorado in a buzzer-beater at the Chicago Legends.  UD is fourth in the AP and third in the USA Today Coaches polls.

The game will be carried by WHIO Radio, televised by ESPN2 and streamed on ESPN+.  Streaming audio, video and stats will be available at DaytonFlyers.com.

THE TRANSFORMED UD ARENA
The University of Dayton has completed a three-year, $76.2 million transformation project of UD Arena in time for the Arena's 50th anniversary season. The project transformed the 50-year-old facility into a state-of-the-art venue.  The upgrade, the largest construction project in University history, modernizes the Arena without losing the "soul of the bowl" – the atmosphere that has made UD Arena one of the best places to watch college basketball.
