DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team will travel to Saint Louis Saturday for the final regular season game this year, facing the Billikens at 8 p.m. ET.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton is 21-8 overall this season and 14-1 in Atlantic 10 play. The Flyers are on just a one-game winning streak, but have won 16 of their last 17 games. UD is 8-3 on the road this year.
Head coach
Shauna Green is in her fourth season in charge of the Flyers and already has two tournament and one regular season conference titles, as well as being the former A-10 Coach of the Year in 2018.
As a team, the Flyers are averaging 64.0 points per game and holding opponents to 57.2 points each outing. Dayton is shooting 38.3 percent overall, 32.6 percent from three, and 71.0 percent from the free throw line. The Flyers have +3.3 rebounding and +1.8 turnover margins.
Dayton is led by redshirt junior
Erin Whalen, with 12.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, and senior
Jayla Scaife, with 12.6 points and 5.5 boards each contest.
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis is 17-11 on the season and 9-6 in A-10 games. The Billikens are 9-4 at home this year and coming off a two-game road stretch.
Head coach Lisa Stone is in her eighth season at SLU and her 34th as a head coach.
This season, Saint Louis is scoring 60.3 points and giving up 56.8 points to opposing teams. The Billikens are shooting 37.9 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from behind the arc, and 70.2 percent from the charity stripe. SLU has a +5.8 rebounding margin, but faces a -1.9 turnover margin.
Leading the Billikens is Ciaja Harbison with 15.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. Kendra Wilken is chipping in 11.3 points and 7.6 boards while Rachel Kent is adding 10.5 points per contest.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton clinched the A-10 regular season title outright with a 78-51 win over St. Bonaventure Wednesday. The Flyers outrebounded the Bonnies 49-25 and got a 16-point, 12-rebound performance from
Jayla Scaife.
Saint Louis earned a 60-57 victory at Richmond Wednesday, its third win in the last four games. The Billikens outscored the Spiders 17-7 in the second quarter alone and got 15 points from Kendra Wilken.
THE SERIES
Dayton and Saint Louis have played 41 times previously with the Flyers winning 31 of those contests. UD won the meeting earlier this year at home 48-47.
STATISTICAL RANKINGS
The Flyers rank 32nd in the country in scoring defense and 34th in rebounds. Dayton also is top 40 in field goal percentage defense. Individually,

FLYERS CLINCH A-10 TITLE
With the win over St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, Feb. 26, Dayton clinched the 2020 Atlantic 10 regular season title outright. The Flyers also earned the No. 1 seed in this year's A-10 Championship.

THREE POINTS OF EXCELLENCE
Dayton has hit at least one three-point shot in 598 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation. The Flyers made a program-record 15 three-point field goals against Buffalo in the Connecticut World Vision Classic on Nov. 25, 2011. Dayton tied the record with 15 vs. Wright State on Nov. 28, 2012.
