GREENSBORO, N.C. - The University of Dayton softball team split its games on the second day of the UNCG Spartan Classic. Dayton blanked Appalachian State, 2-0, before falling to host UNCG, 9-1 in six innings.
Dayton is now 4-9 on the season while Appalachian State moved to 10-7 overall and UNCG finished the day with a 10-5 record.
