DAYTON - Bowling Green was able to hold on for the 6-5 win over the University of Dayton softball team Wednesday. The Flyers and Falcons were scheduled for a doubleheader at UD Softball Stadium but game two was suspended in the middle of the third due to darkness.
Dayton moves to 3-4 on the season while Bowling Green improves to 8-7 overall.

Dayton will be heading to Murfreesboro, Tenn., this weekend to take part in the MTSU Invitational March 12-14. UD is set to match up against Illinois State, North Dakota State and host Middle Tennessee for a total of five games to be played at Blue Raider Softball Stadium.
