COACH'S COMMENTS
"I think our biggest goal tonight was to come into the game with intensity," said head coach Dennis Currier. "I thought we achieved that goal. I thought we were intense the whole match. It's always difficult when you go a couple of games without scoring and trying to break the ice. I thought the guys did a great job finding that goal late in the game. Then I thought we had a couple of chances in overtime to put the game away. Ultimately, I think the most important thing was the intensity that we brought. I think all-around everyone gave us a good performance. We just have to keep that tempo up."

UP NEXT
  • The Flyers will head on the road Tuesday to take on No. 4 West Virginia at 7 p.m.
