DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team fights their way back from a 10 point deficit from early in the fourth quarter. The Flyer's end the game with a pair of back-to-back free throws and that earns them their 8th consecutive win.
The Flyers improve to 14-3 (5-0 A-10) while the Rams fall to 13-5 (4-2 A-10) going into the rest of Atlantic 10 play.

GAME BREAKDOWN
1st Quarter: Dayton 12, Fordham 15
	- Graduate student Erin Whalen drilled double three pointers to get the scoring going for the Flyers.
- Both teams traded buckets back-and-forth as the score was even 8-8 at the midway point in the opening quarter.
- There were four lead changes in the quarter.
- Fordham went on a 7-2 run that resulted in the Ram's taking a three-point lead heading to the second quarter.
2nd Quarter: Dayton 23, Fordham 25
	- Both teams continued to trade baskets to start the quarter.
- UD retook the lead, carrying a 28-20 lead into the media timeout at the 3:46 mark of the quarter.
- Both teams stepped up on defense as they both only shot 32% from the field.
- With the help of five offensive rebounds, Fordham carried a two-point lead into halftime.
- The Rams end the half a hair in front of the Flyers. The two teams continued to battle it out the second quarter as the competition has seen 6 lead changes thus far.
3rd Quarter: Dayton 32, Fordham 39
	- Jenna Giacone comes hot into the second half with an instant layup to tie the game yet again.
- The Flyers held Fordham to only two field goals through the media timeout with 4:00 remaining in the quarter.
- UD only made one of their last nine field goal attempts to end the quarter.
- Fordham went on a 9-2 run to end the quarter and took a seven point lead heading to the final quarter.
4th Quarter: Dayton 52, Fordham 48
	- The teams traded baskets for the first half of the quarter as Fordham led 48-41 at the media timeout with 4:48 remaining.
- Sophomore Tenin Magassa recorded eight points and five rebounds in the final quarter
- UD went on a 7-0 run and tied the game at 48-48 remaining with 41.5 seconds after a layup by sophomore guard Makira Cook. 
- Giacone hit two free throws with eight seconds remaining to give the Flyers a 50-48 lead.
- Magassa added another pair of free throws to conclude the game.
