DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team returns home to host in-state foe Ohio University Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at UD Arena.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton is looking for its first win of the season with an 0-6 record overall and has faced a challenging schedule so far this year. The Flyers have gone to overtime in both home games this season against Illinois State and Northern Kentucky
Head coach
Tamika Williams-Jeter is in her first season in charge of her hometown Flyers, coming over after a year at Wittenberg. She has assistant coaching stops at Kansas, Kentucky, Penn State, and Ohio State.
As a team this year, the Flyers are averaging 61.8 points per game and giving up 73.8 points to opponents. Dayton is shooting 39.4 percent overall, 31.2 percent from three point range, and 72.3 percent from the free throw line. UD is outrebounding opposing teams, but facing a negative turnover margin.

Anyssa Jones is chipping in 9.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Senior

SCOUTING OHIO
Ohio sits at 1-4 on the year and coming off its first win of the season this past weekend. The Bobcats are 1-2 in away games this year and amidst a three-game road stretch.
Head coach Bob Boldon is in his 10th season at the helm of OU and is already the winningest coach in program history.
As a team, the Bobcats are scoring 69.6 points each outing and allowing 77.0 points to opposing squads. Ohio is shooting 41.3 percent from the floor, 27.2 percent from behind the arc, and 71.4 percent from the charity stripe. OU faces -7.0 rebounding and -4.0 turnover margins.
Leading the way for the Bobcats is Yaya Felder, who is averaging 16.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, and Caitlyn Kroll, who is chipping in 10.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton finished the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship with a 70-44 loss to Kentucky last Wednesday. The Flyers were held to just 17 points in the first half and shot 7.1 percent from three-point range.
Mariah Perez had a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead UD.
Ohio earned its first win of the season with a 74-62 decision on the road Saturday at Ohio State. Four Bobcats scored in double figures led by Caitlyn Kroll with 19 points and five threes.
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Ohio have met 13 times previously with the Flyers holding a 10-3 win advantage. The two teams last faced off in 1993 with the Bobcats coming out on top 72-61 at home. UD is 7-0 at home in the series.
