DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team heads back out on the road to take on Saint Louis at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Chaifetz Arena.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton enters the game with the second-longest winning streak in the country at 12 straight games and sits at 18-3 overall and 9-0 in Atlantic 10 play. UD is 6-1 away from home this year.
Head coach
Shauna Green is in her sixth season in charge of the Flyers and was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year 2020, her second time at UD. She earned her 100th win at Dayton in the regular season finale last year.
As a team this year, Dayton is averaging 69.0 points per game and holding opponents to 56.7 points each outing. The Flyers are shooting 41.0 percent overall, 35.3 percent from three point range, and 67.9 percent from the free throw line. UD has +8.3 rebounding and +1.4 turnover margins.

Jenna Giacone are chipping in 14.6 points and 12.3 points per game respectively. Senior Kyle Whitehead has contributed across the board with 7.3 points and a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game. Â
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis hosts Dayton for their annual School Day game and enters with a 6-13 record on the season. The Billikens are 2-5 in A-10 play, 2-5 at home this year, and looking to end a three-game losing skid.
Head coach Lisa Stone has 662 career wins in 36 years and is in her 10th season at SLU. Â
This season, Saint Louis is scoring 62.1 points each contest and giving up 66.0 points to opposing squads. The Billikens are shooting 39.7 percent from the field, 29.1 percent from behind the arc, and 69.5 percent from the charity stripe. SLU has a positive rebounding margin, but faces a turnoer deficit.
Leading the way is A-10 First Teamer Ciaja Harbison with 18.0 points per game while Brooke Flowers is averaging a double-double with 10.7 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. Natalie McNeal is close behind with 9.6 points and 5.4 boards per game.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton earned an 84-44 victory over George Mason Saturday at home.
Makira Cook tied a career high with 29 points while Giacone added 12 points and freshman
Brynn Shoup-Hill had 10 points.
Saint Louis dropped a 69-66 decision on the road at Massachusetts Saturday despite cutting the margin to one with 11 seconds left. Ciaja Harbison led the effort with 27 points with 15 points from Natalie McNeal and 10 points from Brooke Flowers.
THE SERIES
Dayton and Saint Louis have played 46 times previously with the Flyers controlling the series 35 wins to the Billikens' 11 victories. UD won the meeting earlier this season 77-59 at home with 49 combined points from Cook and Whalen.

OFF TO A HOT START
Dayton has found much success under Coach Green in the month of January, going 42-2 in her six seasons as head coach of the Flyers. That includes going undefeated in five of her first six seasons.
THREE POINTS OF EXCELLENCE
Dayton has hit at least one three-point shot in 641 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation. The Flyers made a program-record 15 three-point field goals against Buffalo in the Connecticut World Vision Classic on Nov. 25, 2011. Dayton tied the record with 15 vs. Wright State on Nov. 28, 2012.
