FAIRFAX, Va. - The University of Dayton softball team downed Saint Louis Thursday, 10-1, in second-round play at the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship. Five Flyers tallied two hits in the game including senior Alyssa Cacini who knocked out a home run in the first inning. 

Dayton improves to 21-23 on the season while Saint Louis closes out 2022 with a 22-29 overall record.

KEY STATS
• 2 - five Flyers connected on two hits in the game
• 2 - Cacini and junior Nicolette Papavasiliou knocked in two runs apiece
• 10 - junior Katie Reeg recorded a career-high 10 putouts playing at first base
• 12 - as a team, Dayton tallied 12 hits - the team's 13th game this season with double-digit hits
