HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The University of Dayton men's golf team turned in a ninth-place finish at Marshall's Joe Feaganes Invitational led by junior
Henry May who tied for seventh place at three under par. The 54-hole event was contested at Guyan Golf and Country Club Sept. 12-13 and the course was played at par 71 and 6,523 yards.
Appalachian State took home top team honors with a score of 270-280-295=845 (-7) host Marshall's Tyler Jones was the individual medalist with an eight-under-par score of 66-70-69=205. As a team, Dayton posted a score of 287-284-295=866 (+14).

The Dayton men's golf team will return to action Sept. 19-20 at Davidson's River Run Collegiate. The Flyers will head to Davidson, North Carolina, for the two-day tournament that will be played at River Run Country Club.
