DAVIDSON, N.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished in third place at the Davidson River Run Collegiate Tuesday with two top-15 finishes.
Blake Solomon and
Henry May led the Flyers with a 15th-place finish among the field.
The 54-hole event was played at River Run Country Club at par 72 and 7,317 yards.
Host Davidson claimed the team title with a score of 299-291-277=867 (+3) and Howard's Gregory Odom, Jr. turned in a score of 70-67-71=208 (-8) to earn medalist honors. Dayton carded a team score of 295-293-287=875 (+11).

UP NEXT
Dayton is set to return to action the first week of October with the Tom Tontimonia Invitational Oct. 3-4. The three-round event will be played at Lakewood Country Club hosted by Cleveland State.
