Jacob Garland tied for ninth place to lead the Flyers at the Bash at the Beach Tuesday. This is Garland's third top-10 finish of the season. The two-day event, hosted by Appalachian State at
Surf Golf and Beach Club, was contested on the par-71, 6,705-yard course.
Oral Roberts claimed the team title with a score of 281-281-281=843 (-9) while Utah Valley's Caden Weber claimed medalist honors with his three-round score of 66-70-69=205 (-8). Dayton turned in a team score of 287-287-292=866 (+14) to finish in eighth place out of 18 teams.
