DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team fell to visiting Ohio State Wednesday at UD Softball Stadium. The two teams were knotted at six runs apiece after two innings but the Buckeyes opened up the game in the third on their way to a 17-6, five-inning win.

Dayton moves to 15-12 on the season while Ohio State is now 21-8 overall.

3 - senior Nicolette Papavasiliou collected three RBI, her second three-RBI game of the season
2 - junior Taylor Erschen was 2-for-3 at the plate, the only Flyer who recorded a multi-hit game
2B - Papavasiliou and senior Ali Weekley both batted a double in the contest, Weekley's first of the season
Winning Pitcher: Allison Smith (11-4), Losing Pitcher: Haven Dwyer (8-3)

Dayton returns to Atlantic 10 Conference action this weekend with a three-game set at George Washington.
