PITTSBURGH - The University of Dayton men's golf team turned in a third-place finish at the RedHawk Intercollegiate led by senior
Kyle Schmidt who finished tied for sixth out of 78 competitors. The 54-hole event hosted by Miami (Ohio) was competed at the Pittsburgh Field and the course was played at par 71 and 6,827 yards April 17-18.
Marquette turned in the low team score of 286-291-295=872 (+20) while North Dakota State's Nate Adams (70-71-71=212) and Richmond's Cole Ekert (69-75-68=212) tied for first place in individual standings at one under par. Dayton was five strokes behind Marquette with a team score of 291-298-288=877.
