WASHINGTON, D.C. - The University of Dayton softball team completed the Atlantic 10 series sweep with an 8-3 win at George Washington on Sunday. Junior
Taylor Erschen went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI to lead the Flyers' offense on the day.
Dayton finishes out the week with an 18-12 overall record and a 5-1 mark in A-10 games while George Washington moves to 11-16 on the season and 2-7 in league contests.

10 - as a team, the Flyers tallied 10 hits, the 10th time this season UD has recorded double-digit hits

Izzy Kemp collected eight strikeouts, her sixth-consecutive start with seven or more strikeouts
3 - Erschen led all batters with three hits on the day and was one of two Flyers to post a multi-hit game
2 - three Flyers recorded two RBI on the day including
Kaelene Walter, her fifth multi-RBI game of the season

UP NEXT
Dayton will open play this coming week with a mid-week match-up at Butler on Tuesday. The Flyers and Bulldogs are set to get underway at 3 p.m. April 4 at Butler Softball Field in Indianapolis.
