DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team scored five unanswered runs, including junior
Maddie Kapsimalis' walk-off home run, to clip Northern Kentucky, 5-4, Tuesday at UD Softball Stadium. The second baseman was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and three RBI.
Dayton improves to 21-17 on the season while Northern Kentucky is now 17-15 for the year.

UP NEXT
Dayton's doubleheader against St. Bonaventure, originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been moved to next Wednesday, April 24 due to forecasted severe weather. The Flyers will return to action Saturday as they play host to the Saint Joseph's Hawks. UD and SJU will kick off a three-game Atlantic 10 series April 20 at 12 p.m. with two games Saturday and one game on Sunday. Admission is free.
