DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's basketball team welcomes Fordham to UD Arena, the Epicenter of College Basketball, for a New Year's Eve showdown to open Atlantic 10 Conference action on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Wednesday's game will tip at 2 p.m. and air on Spectrum News 1.

The Flyers (9-4) saw their 34-game home winning streak snapped by Liberty prior to Christmas break, falling 64-61 to the Flames. Fordham (9-4) finished the non-conference slate with a home School Day victory over NCAA Division II New Haven, 65-47.

Despite the loss to the Flames, a few Flyers had noteworthy performances, including sophomore Amaël L'Etang who scored a new career-high 19 points. L'Etang knocked down a career-best four three-pointers and also had five rebounds. Senior Keonte Jones narrowly missed his first double-double at UD, scoring nine points and pulling down his best rebound mark as a Flyer with 15.
