CHICAGO - The University of Dayton softball team completed the Atlantic 10 series sweep of Loyola Chicago Sunday with a 6-3 win over the Ramblers. Six of the Flyers' nine hits in the game were doubles, led by senior Chloe Wong with a career-high three. With the win, Dayton extends its winning streak to five games.

Dayton improves to 20-13 on the season and 10-4 in league games while Loyola Chicago is now 12-29 overall and 7-10 in A-10 action.

KEY STATS
4 - sophomore Deirdre Flaherty equaled her career high with four RBI, her fifth multi-RBI game of the season
3 - senior Chloe Wong was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate - all three doubles - for her sixth multi-hit game of the year
3 - senior Maddie Kapsimalis scored equaled her career high with three runs scored after a 2-for-3 day at the plate
2B - the Flyers combined for a season-high six doubles in the game - Wong (3), Flaherty (2) and Kirnan Bailey (1)
Win - Camrynn Linneman (2-3). Loss - Broniewicz (6-9). Save - None.

UP NEXT
After eight-consecutive away games, Dayton finally returns to the friendly confines of UD Softball Stadium on Wednesday as it plays host to No. 22/24 Ohio State. The Flyers and Buckeyes will get underway at 4 p.m. and admission is free. Fans are encourages to wear RED for a red out and there will be a post-game autograph session.
