WASHINGTON - The University of Dayton softball team was eliminated from postseason play after dropping a 3-0 decision to Fordham and taking Saint Louis to extra innings before falling, 1-0, in the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship.
Dayton ends the season with a 30-18 overall mark.

Izzy Kemp fanned 14 batters - her third-consecutive and 10th overall double-digit strikeouts game this season

Ella Holman tallied a career-high five putouts in left field
1B - with her single in the sixth inning, senior
Maddie Kapsimalis ended the season on a nine-game hitting streak
K - Dwyer ended her career by striking out the final Billiken batter of the game
Win - Isabel Royle (11-12). Loss - Kemp (14-5). Save - None.

Junior pitcher
Izzy Kemp was voted onto the All-Championship Team. Over her two appearances in the tournament, she recorded a total of 31 strikeouts including a new program single-game record of 17 in the 2-0 win over George Washington on Thursday.
