DAYTON – University of Dayton and University of Cincinnati have jointly announced they will play a two-game series in men's basketball starting in the 2025-26 campaign.
Dayton and UC will play the first game of a two-game contract on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Fifth Third Arena. The two teams will play at UD Arena during the 2026-27 season.
The Flyers and Bearcats first played each other on Jan. 31, 1907. Cincinnati leads the series 61-31. The two teams met the last two seasons in the neutral site Hoops Classic played at the Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati. Dayton won 82-68 in the 2023 Hoops Classic, and UC took last year's game 66-59.
The Cincinnati series is the Flyers' third-most played opponent. The only two teams UD has played more are Xavier (159) and Miami (132).

Amaël L'Etang -- from its 23-11 team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 NIT.
