COACH'S QUOTE
"I am so proud of our group, and am grateful for the support we received this week," said head coach
Collin Toner. "We had great attention for all 54 holes. Even though we had a few players sick early in the week and even at the tournament, I felt like our chances of playing well were very high from the moment we left Dayton. This victory was the culmination of a total team effort."
Coach also had this to say about his junior leader.
"Luke is such a team player, he didn't even know that he had won the tournament when he finished," Toner added. "I'm so proud of him and am grateful that his mindset is team first. He's thriving in our environment and I expect our team to keep climbing."
UP NEXT
Dayton will be back in action Oct. 12-13 in nearby Kettering, Ohio at the Moraine Intercollegiate hosted by Miami (Ohio).
