ST. LOUIS - The University of Dayton softball team took one of two games at Saint Louis on Saturday, winning the first, 4-0, before falling, 8-7, in the nightcap. The Atlantic 10 doubleheader was played at Billiken Sports Center.
Dayton moves to 21-17 overall and 11-9 in A-10 games while Saint Louis is now 19-24 and 10-10 in league action.
GAME ONE
Dayton 4, Saint Louis 0

Izzy Kemp worked the complete game (8) shutout (2) in the circle for the Flyers
16 - Kemp tallied 16 strikeouts, the ninth time this season she has posted double-digit Ks in a conference game

Deirdre Flaherty recorded two hits and knocked in two runs
SB - Bailey snagged two stolen bases on her way to setting a new program single-season stolen bases record

16 - as a team, the Flyers combined for a season-high 16 hits

Molly Grace was one of five Flyers with a multi-hit game - with her single, triple and home run she was a double away from hitting for the cycle
SB - with her stolen base in the fourth inning, BaileyÂ
surpassed Kristin Nicoletti (SLU - 37, 2009) as the new Atlantic 10Â single-season stolen bases record holder at 38
Win - Riley Nelson (6-7). Loss - Kemp (14-5). Save - None.

The Flyers and Billikens will close out their three-game conference series on Sunday with a single-game. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. at Billiken Sports Center and admission is free.
