DAVIDSON, N.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team tied for third place to finish up their week at the Davidson's River Run Collegiate Tuesday afternoon in North Carolina. 

The Flyers had their strongest showing of the season and had the best team round of the day in round 2. Sophomore TJ Kreusch and senior Breckin Taylor paced UD as Top 10 individuals.

KEY STATS
4.85 – the Flyers had the second-best average score on par 5s at a -9 on the weekend
2 – Dayton also led the event with two eagles – Momper and Taylor
-5 – UD had the best round 2 team score at -5 overall

COACH'S COMMENTS
"I'm proud to post a top-3 result at a fellow A10 member's home course," said head coach Collin Toner. "Our performance was far from perfect, but this is a confidence builder heading into our next three events, all of which are in Ohio. Individually, T.J. Kreusch, Breckin Taylor, and Luke Kahle all have scoring averages at 72.5 or better through six rounds. I'm very pleased with their play."
