Competed in five events for the Flyers... Had a season-best time of 18:38.9 in the 5K at the National Catholic Invitational (Sept. 14) and finished 37th overall out of 266 runners... Placed 2nd at the All-Ohio Championships (Sept. 29) with a time of 18:56.47... Recorded a time of 19:30.2 at the Atlantic 10 Championships and finished 71st... Competed in the 6K event once at the Great Lakes Invitational, where she recorded a time of 22:29.

Armstrong started the year off strong at the Flyer 5k... Placed 29th overall with a time of 19:59.6... Finished in 210th place with a time of 23:55 at the NCAA Pre-Nationals... Continued to race well at the Atlantic 10 Championships, where she finished in 86th place overall with a time of 19:32.4.
