The financial commitment of the many alumni, fans and friends who make up the Flyer Faithful empowers the athletic program to enhance the student-athlete experience which will allow us to recruit quality individuals and compete for championships in every sport.
The Athletics Department is responsible for the educational expenses (tuition, fees, room, board, books) of nearly 400 student-athletes who represent the university in intercollegiate competition. The Athletics Excellence Fund provides a way for individuals to help these talented young people receive a quality education while ensuring UD's tradition of excellence continues to grow. Â
On the court, on the field - wherever they compete - the Flyers are not out-hustled or out-played. But they also rely on others to get there. We have delivered victories and championships beyond expectations. To continue this success demands more hard work and more opportunities for our student-athletes. Our focus is to increase and broaden our efforts to attract support for operating athletic programs, the retention of great coaches, for facilities and for scholarships.

Pledge – You can make a pledge for one or multiple years now, and then pay in installments throughout the fiscal year. Pledge reminders will be mailed to you reflecting your remaining balance until your commitment is fulfilled.
