UD Arena A-Z Guide


A

Guests with disabilities will find accessible parking, vehicle drop-off areas, restrooms, concessions, water fountains, and seating areas. All accessible seating is reserved. More information is available at the Customer Service window in the southeast corner of the Arena or by calling the ticket office at 937-229-4433.

B

Baby changing stations are located in every men’s, women’s, and family restroom on the main concourse.

Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home to expedite the security process. Bags and backpacks larger than 16”x16”x8” are not permitted except for diaper bags and medical equipment which are subject to inspection at any time.

Banners and signs are permitted, provided they are basketball-related, in good taste and not of a commercial nature. Banners and signs may not exceed 8.5" x 11", or obstruct the view of other guests or arena advertising signage. Arena staff reserve the right to remove any banner or sign.

Bottles, cans or beverage containers of any type are not allowed. Inspections will be conducted at the entrance.

Only still cameras are permitted. However, no tripods or similar devices are permitted. Video cameras are not allowed.

UD Arena is cashless. Cash is not accepted at the ticket office, concession stands, or the Cronin Family Spirit Shop. Credit/debit, Apple Pay and GPay are accepted.

A free cell phone charging station is located on the north concourse behind section 212.

The following are prohibited:

  • Abusive, foul or disruptive language and obscene gestures.
  • Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures.
  • Obscene or indecent clothing.
  • Inappropriate displays of affection.
  • Sitting in a location other than your ticketed seat.
  • Interference with the game/event.
  • Trespassing into restricted area.
  • Any activities prohibited by law.

Commercial activity or solicitations of any kind are not allowed on property. Unauthorized sale of merchandise, food or beverage is strictly prohibited.

All fans dropping off or picking up should do so via Gate B. Uber/Lyft/Taxis should also use this option.

The Arena will open one and a half hours before the start of Flyers men's basketball games, one hour prior to Flyers women’s basketball games and as posted for other events. Information on other events is available at DaytonFlyers.com.

In the event of an emergency where a partial or complete evacuation of the arena is necessary, follow all directions from Arena personnel. Management suggests familiarizing yourself with the location of exits.

Located on the north side, they are designed for guests with small children or those with disabilities. Family restrooms are ADA accessible and equipped with baby changing tables.

The first aid station is located in the southwest corner of the Arena on the main concourse behind section 201.

Please go to the UD Customer Service desk, which is located in the Connor Lobby (Ticket Office) in the southeast corner for assistance. Additionally, patrons can call (937) 229-4635 to check for lost and found items.

Souvenirs may be purchased at the Cronin Family Spirit Shop in the southeast corner of the arena or at the stand in the northwest corner.

There is a nursing room located on the south concourse near First Aid behind section 201.


P

Those with parking passes will be granted access to the A, B, C & D lots. Fans who do not have a pass to park in the Arena lots will be able to park in Lot O near the University of Dayton Marriott (address: 1414 S Patterson Blvd.). There will be a $5 charge per car and a shuttle bus will transport you to and from the Arena. Parking in the Carillon neighborhood adjacent to the Arena, at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel and at the University of Dayton Marriott is prohibited.

Parking for Flyer women’s games are free and open to the public in lots A and B.

Men's Basketball: A non-conference and conference program will be available to purchase for $5 at UD Arena featuring team information, stats, stories, and more. The non-conference program is available from 11/4-12/17 and the conference program is available 12/31-3/4. The available locations can be found here.

An individual game day program will be available digitally as well here for each home game.

Women's Basketball: A limited number of non-conference and conference programs will be available upon entry to UD Arena. The non-conference program is available from 11/5-12/19 and the conference program is available 1/2-2/26. A copy of the non-conference and conference programs will also be available digitally here.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: firearms, weapons of any kind, outside food and drink, strollers, signs larger than 8.5” x 11”, tripods, balloons, animals (with the exception of service animals), camera lenses longer than eight (8) inches, laser pointers, and noisemakers.

Patrons are not allowed to leave UD Arena and re-enter using the same ticket. A new ticket will be required for entry.

The resale of game tickets or the selling of merchandise is strictly prohibited in and around UD Arena and parking lots. Violators are subject to prosecution.


S

Smoking is prohibited inside University of Dayton Arena. For certain events, exterior smoking areas may be available. For Dayton basketball games, the smoking area is accessible on the east side of the Arena. All fans who leave will have to be re-screened to enter.

Strollers are not permitted inside UD Arena.

A valid ticket is required for all events unless otherwise advertised. Children two (2) and under who will not occupy a seat will not need a ticket for basketball games.

Ushers/security staff are stationed throughout the Arena to assist you and enforce facility rules and regulations. If assistance is needed, please immediately seek out an Arena staff member. If approached by an usher or security personnel, please treat them with courtesy and respect. By enforcing rules, our staff is making University of Dayton Arena a safer and more comfortable environment for all guests.

UD Arena provides free Wi-Fi for all guests inside the arena courtesy of altafiber. To access it, find “_UD Arena Guest WiFi” listed in your Wi-Fi settings.
